Domestic Violence

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice pursuant to his contribution of 17 April 2012, Official Report, column 223, whether his commitment to double the time limit in relation to evidence of domestic violence will apply in relation to incidents of child abuse.
Answer

Yes. The doubling of the time limit will apply to evidence required to show child abuse for legal aid in private children cases.
