- Whether HMG intend to reduce no of North-East drift net licences with no replacements & estimate of how long it will take to phase out completely North-East drift net fishery; when the NRA is expected to report on conclusions of Govt report on salmon net fisheries & whether taking evidence from interested organisations such as Atlantic Salmon Trust, Salmon & Trout Association & Tweed Commissioners & whether & to what extent Yorkshire & Northumbrian regions are co-operating with efforts to phase out offshore drift net fishery.
