To comment on the current practice in respect of allowing the staff of the Metropolitan Police time off in working hours for sporting and leisure activities; what was the highest total number of hours given in time off to any member of the force in 1990; how many workings hours were lost & what was the cost to public funds; & what was the cost to public funds; & to list the various sporting & leisure activities which the staff of the Metropolitan police force had time off work for last year. - Inc table but no figures given (disproportionate cost).
