- If he will publish the number of claims settled by his Department and the value of compensation award in each of the past 10 years for which figures are available; what was the average value of claims settled at constant prices (a) prior to the repeal of the Crown Proceedings (Armed Forces) Act 1987, (b) during the ex-gratia period and (c) post repeal; and what estimates of the total annual payments post-repeal were made by Ministers during the passage of the Act through Parliament. - Information requested is not readily available & could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
