Mr. Campbell-Savours: To ask the President of the Board of Trade on how many occasions in the last two years he has received communications from hon. Members relating to the interests of Scottish and Newcastle Breweries.[29233] Mr. John M. Taylor: My right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade and ministerial colleagues have answered 23 separate letters or parliamentary questions, all of which relate to the acquisition by Scottish and Newcastle of Courage and the new company formed after the merger, Scottish Courage. In addition, three early-day motions were tabled and an Adjournment debate was held in January 1996.
