Sir John Gorst: To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many (a) consultants, (b) registrars, (c) junior doctors and (d) nurses are standard to (a) a minor accident treatment service unit, (b) a medical receiving room and (c) an accident and emergency department. [2148] Mr. Horam: It is for health authorities and national health service trusts to decide what levels of staffing are necessary locally.
