- To give for each financial year since 1973 & estimate for current year of no of ophthalmic tests carried out under NHS; no of new eye glasses prescribed, cost of the tests & glasses prescribed; no for which payment had to be paid in whole or part & average % contribution; & no of free treatments for children, pensioners & other beneficiaries; & estimate of average no of treatments for a married manual worker, his wife & 2 children, & amount charged. - Includes table excluding information for manual worker & family.
