Mr. Matthew Banks: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will report progress with the privatisation of the Paymaster agency. [9183] Mr. Oppenheim: Initial bids have been received and three bidders have just been short-listed. These are the management and employee buy-out team in partnership with ITNet, Capita Managed Services, and EDS/Hogg Robinson Financial Services Ltd. Final bids are due in by mid-January.
