Mr. John Marshall: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what recent representations he has received about the viability of the nuclear deterrent.[26941] Mr. Soames: My right hon. Friend has received a number of representations from individuals and organisations on aspects of our deterrent forces. The entry into service of Trident ensures that we will have a credible and effective deterrent well into the next century.
