Question

What research his or any other Government department had commissioned and received on the environmental impact of sea dumping Brent Spar on the deep ocean ecosystems prior to approving the sea dumping of Brent Spar; what was the conclusion of the AURIS report on the dumping of Brent Spar and what research drew his Department to the conclusion that the contents of the Brent Spar would disperse slowly over thousands of years.
