- What are the precise provisions of Principle 8 of Agenda 21 of the Rio Declaration of June 1992; what is his policy in respect of implementing those provisions; and what specific policies have been adopted by his Department in respect of those aspects of Principle 8 which commit signatories to achieve sustainable development by eliminating unsustainable patterns of production and consumption. - Inc ref to Sustainable Development: The UK Strategy, Cm 2426 and Expenditure Plans for Trade and Industry, Cm 2504.
