What percentage of those submitted by the independent selection process for nomination as independent members of English police authorities were (a) women, (b) from ethnic minorities, (c) from the voluntary sector, (d) businessmen, (e) educationalists and (f) lawyers; and what proportion (i) of each group and (ii) in total remained on the list after the Home Office review of the suggested names. - Includes table.
