- If he will comment on the tax burden of a married couple on average earnings, a £30,000 mortgage, and with two children. - Real take-home pay, after tax, for this group has increased by around £83 a week since 1978-79, compared with an increase of less than £2 a week between 1973-74 and 1978-79.(Failed OPQ)
