If he will list by category of establishment the total number of prisons which, for the purposes of examination of clothing and baggage, do not have or use (a) X-ray machines or (b) metal detectors; to list total number of incidents in each year since 1989, where visitors to prisons have had weapons or other unsuitable metallic items found on their person & confiscated; to place in Library a copy of procedures governing searches for visitors to prison establishments. - Will write.
