Mr. Tony Banks: To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what were the final figures for recovered losses of birds and mammals arising from oil pollution in the Shetland Isles as a result of the MV Braer incident. [8903] Mr. Raymond S. Robertson: The information requested is contained in the report of the ecological steering group "The Environmental Impact of the Wreck of the Braer" (The Scottish Office, 1994), a copy of which is in the Library.
