Welsh Office

Question
What proposals he has for the introduction of electronic mail for the issuing of press releases and for communication between his departmental offices in Cardiff and London and the Library.
Answer

Mr. Morgan: To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what proposals he has for the introduction of electronic mail for the issuing of press releases and for communication between his departmental offices in Cardiff and London and the Library. [7581] Mr. Hague: At present, there is no electronic mail facility for the distribution of press notices. However, as electronic mail is developed internally, the opportunity may be taken to extend it to the House of Commons Library. There is a limited electronic mail link between some departmental offices in Cardiff and London.
