- What discussions HMG have had with the Government of Kenya about the arrangements for elections in Kenya in 1997 with particular reference to any need for external assistance to ensure that the elections are genuinely free and fair and that all political parties have equal access to the electorate and the media; and what practical assistance the United Kingdom is prepared to offer in this respect.
