Mr. Gordon Prentice: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what assessment he has made of proposals to allow women to serve in a front-line role in the infantry. [6528] Dr. Reid: My Department is currently considering proposals for extending employment opportunities for women in the Army. No decision has yet been reached.
