Mr. Ben Chapman: To ask the President of the Board of Trade which EU countries have invested more per employed person than the United Kingdom in the period since 1979. [19477] Mr. Greg Knight: Since 1979 business investment in the United Kingdom has accounted for a greater proportion of gross domestic product than in France, Germany and Italy.
