Mr. Rowlands: To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what will be the change in each TEC budget for 1998-99. [20985] Mr. Hain: The budgets of individual TECs for 1998-99 will not be known until finalisation of their business plans following negotiation next year. However, total funding for Government programmes delivered through TECs (including the TEC Management Fee, Training for Work allowances and other central costs) will decrease from £118.1 million to £110.1 million (6.8 per cent.) between 1997-98 and 1998-99.
