Mr. Steinberg: To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what targets he has set for the Security Facilities Executive. [9068] Mr. Kilfoyle: I have set the following targets for SAFE for 1997-98: (a) to achieve 100 per cent. cost recovery in accruals terms, excluding 0.5 per cent. restructuring costs; (b) to achieve a Vote surplus of £0.2 million, excluding restructuring costs; (c) to achieve sales of £20 million; (d) to achieve a reduction in the unit costs of outputs of no less than 4 per cent. in real terms; (e) to achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 92 per cent.; (f) to reassess the timetable and produce a revised action plan for attaining Investors in People accreditation in 1999; (g) to maintain accreditation to quality standard ISO 9000, and extend it to cover Common Services.
