How many NHS consultants had a period of suspension during (i) 1994-5 and (ii) 1995-96; and what were the total amounts payable to them during each of those years; how many consultants are currently suspended with full pay by the NHS; and total annual salary of those under suspension. - Information on the number of national health service consultants suspended is only held centrally for those cases lasting more than six months and was not collected before 31 March 1995.
