If the Government plans to accept any liability for redundancy costs arising from the proposed privatisation of the Building Research Establishment and what discussions have been held between his Department and the two bidders for the Building Research Department about provision for redundancy among existing Building Research Establishment employees and the liability for redundancy payments.
