Mrs. Helen Jackson: To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what representations he has received from beekeepers about the threat posed by varroa; and if he will make a statement. [18799] Mr. Boswell: We take the threat to honey bees from varroa most seriously and this is a matter upon which we have received a number of representations from beekeepers. The Ministry continues to work closely with beekeeping organisations to control the impact and spread of varroa.
