Mrs. Peacock: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment how many teachers in Kirklees retired before the age of 60 years, other than for reasons for health or disability in each of the past six years. [14621] Mrs. Gillan: Teachers from the maintained nursery, primary, secondary and special sector in Kirklees, who took premature retirement on the grounds other than ill-health or disability from 1990-91 to 1995-96, are shown in the table: _________________________________________________________________________________________________.
