- Statement on plans to implement the recommendations in the Law Commission Report 'Restitution: Mistakes of Law and Ultra Vires Public Authority Receipts and Payments' (Law Com. No 227). - Includes fact that Government have accepted the Law Commission's recommendations for general legislation on the restitution of benefits conferred under a mistake of law and will introduce legislation when a suitable opportunity arises.
