Mr. Woolas: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what representations he has received from the clothing and textile industry on the prospects for the industry. [55088] Mr. Battle: During the course of the year, DTI ministers have received a number of letters about the position of the industry from companies, MPs, trade unions and trade associations. In addition, DTI ministers have met with representatives from the textile and clothing industry and the unions.
