To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, What plans he has to modify the operation undertaken, on behalf of his Department, in the Firth of Clyde by Serco Denholm.

Dr. Godman: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what plans he has to modify the operation undertaken, on behalf of his Department, in the firth of Clyde by Serco Denholm. [55879] Mr. Doug Henderson: Serco Denholm provides the Royal Navy with parts services in the Firth of Clyde. We are at the early stages in considering with Serco Denholm whether the vessels operated by the company on behalf of my Department can be utilised more extensively.
