Dr. Lynne Jones: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his answer of 30 July 1998, Official Report, column 444, what was the outcome of the review of his Department's training methods; and what is his policy on future defence exercises involving the shooting of pigs. [55396] Mr. Doug Henderson: UK military participation in the Danish Armed Forces medical exercises involving the use of pigs remains suspended pending the completion of our review.
