To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what changes he has made to estimates for (a) growth, (b) unemployment and (c) inflation for (i) 1998 and (ii) 1999.
Answer

Mr. Mitchell: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what changes he has made to estimates for (a) growth, (b) unemployment and (c) inflation for (i) 1998 and (ii) 1999. [55381] Ms Hewitt: New forecasts for growth and inflation will be published later this autumn as part of the Pre-Budget Report. These will take account of developments since the Budget forecast was published in March.
