To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what recent contacts there have been with (a) officials and (b) ministers of the Libyan government on the arrangements for a trial of suspects in the Lockerbie case in the Hague; and if it is his intention that discussions on this issue should continue; and to comment on the arrangements which would be acceptable to HMGovt for a trial of suspects of the Lockerbie bombing to take place in The Hague. - Ref to 30 July 1998 at 592 c1618.
