To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when the Konver Programme Monitoring Committee will confirm to the Government Office of the North West what funds it can spend outside the Objective 2 areas. - (Holding answer 29 July 1998).

Mr. Key: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when the Konver Programme Monitoring Committee will confirm to the Government Office of the North West what funds it can spend outside the Objective 2 areas. [53004] Mrs. Roche: [holding answer 29 July 1998]: The Government Office for the North-West, like all other Government Offices, is already aware of the amount of funds it may spend outside Objective areas under the current allocation of the KONVER II EU programme.
