Mr. Bruce George: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence on what date British ground forces were first deployed in Bosnia as part of UNPROFOR. [47299] Mr. George Robertson: The main body of the United Kingdom ground forces were first deployed in Bosnia on 18 November 1992. However, reconnaissance, activation and advance parties had arrived several weeks earlier.
