Question: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, which body is responsible under section 89 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 for the clearance of litter in Cambridgeshire on (a) the M11, (b) the A11, (c) the A14 and (d) the A10.

Answer: Mr. Paice: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions which body is responsible under section 89 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 for the clearance of litter in Cambridgeshire on (a) the M11, (b) the A11, (c) the A14 and (d) the A10. [41604] Angela Eagle: Under Section 89 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, the Highways Agency are responsible for the clearance of litter on the M11. Responsibility for litter clearance on the A11, A14 and A10 falls to the relevant district councils along those routes.
