Mr. Vaz: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he is considering for an exchange of prisoners between Britain and Venezuela. [35869] Mr. Fatchett: We have no plans for an exchange of prisoners. We are, however, seeking to negotiate a Prisoner Transfer Agreement with Venezuela. I refer my hon. Friend to my reply to his question on 5 February 1998, Official Report, column 752.
