- Question
- To ask Mr Attorney General, if he will review the decision of the Charity Commissioner to permit the disposal of the French Convalescent Home.
- Answer
-
Dr. Desmond Turner: To ask the Attorney-General if he will review the decision of the Charity Commissioner to permit the disposal of the French Convalescent Home. [28681] The Attorney-General: I do not have any power to review the decisions of the Charity Commissioners. Like other interested parties I could have appealed to the High Court and asked it to quash the Commissioners' decision but I was not persuaded that grounds for an appeal were made out.
