Mr. Hood: To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what assessment he has made of the impact in Scotland of the Post Office White Paper. [91608] Mr. Macdonald: The benefits that will arise from the measures in the White Paper are expected to apply throughout the United Kingdom. These include setting criteria to ensure that a truly national service is provided including especially Post Office Counters' services and a universal service of postal delivery.
