Answer: Mr. Townend: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what assessment she has made of when the decommissioning of illegally held arms and explosives will begin. [71208] Mr. Ingram: I have welcomed the start the LVF made to decommissioning which took place on 18 December, and I urge them to continue. Discussions continue between representatives of other groups and the Decommissioning Commission. It is now time for them to start to decommission: they know very well that the Good Friday agreement must be implemented in full and that decommissioning is an indispensable part of that agreement.
