- To give for each quarter since first quarter of 1979: British manufacturing investment as a proportion of GDP expressed as a % of G7 average, British spending on civil research & development as a proportion of GDP expressed as a % of G7 average, British manufacturing output per head as a % of G7 average & Britain's share of world trade as a % of G7 share of world trade. - Includes tables.
