Answer

Mr. Mackinlay: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what responsibilities he retains in relation to the oversight of (a) security of airports in Northern Ireland and (b) management of the Northern Ireland Airport Police; and what responsibilities are devolved. [102440] Mr. Ingram: As policing and security are reserved matters for administration by this Government, my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland has retained all of his current responsibilities for the oversight of security at Northern Ireland airports and management of the Northern Ireland Airport police. None of these responsibilities are being devolved at this time to the new Northern Ireland Assembly.
