Mr. Clappison: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what the cost was of collecting data on infant class sizes in September. [97844] Ms Estelle Morris: The estimated cost of collecting data on infant class sizes in September is £70,000. This includes the cost of data collection and preparation within the Department and the costs incurred by schools and local education authorities in completing the return.
