Mr. Hancock: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many UK troops participated in the Saffron Sands exercise; at what cost; and if he will make a statement. [97877] Mr. Spellar: A total of 600 troops were deployed on Exercise Saffron Sands this year at a cost of approximately £600K.
