Mr. Woodward: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions if temperature levels on tubes during Thursday 8 July exceeded Health and Safety Executive limits. [91526] Mrs. Liddell: [holding answer 15 July 1999]: This is a matter for London Underground. I understand that the Health and Safety Executive does not set temperature limits for the tube.
