To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government in respect of recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
Answer

Mr. Austin: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government in respect of recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon. [R] [90341] Mr. Hoon: We were concerned at the recent Hizbullah attacks on northern Israel and the subsequent Israeli bombing of Lebanon. We have made representations to urge all parties to show restraint and to respect the April Understandings.
