Answer: Mr. Maude: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish the minutes of the meeting of the EU Code of Conduct Group chaired by the Paymaster General on 7 and 8 July. [91002] Dawn Primarolo: As I explained in my reply to the hon. Member for Bognor Regis and Littlehampton (Mr. Gibb) on 18 June 1998, Official Report, columns 271-72, paragraph 12 of the Council Conclusions of 9 March 1998 states that the Council "agrees that the work of the Code of Conduct Group shall be confidential".
