To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, how many PhD students were in their first year of research and taught courses in UK universities in the latest year for which the information is available and in each of the previous 10 years, broken down by (i) subject and (ii) domicile. - Inc tables.

Mr. Willis: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment how many PhD students were in their first year of research and taught courses in UK universities in the latest year for which the information is available and in each of the previous 10 years, broken down by (i) subject and (ii) domicile.
