Mr. Gareth Thomas: To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the answer from the Secretary of State for Wales of 31 October 2000, Official Report, column 359W, what the role of her Department is in co-ordinating the Government's approach in formulating primary legislation according subordinate legislative powers to the National Assembly for Wales. [139352] Marjorie Mowlam: The Cabinet Office Constitution Secretariat has produced a series of Devolution Guidance Notes, to assist Government Departments with aspects of devolution. These guidance notes have been placed int he Libraries of both Houses and made available on the Cabinet Office website. As my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales said in his answer of 31 October 2000, Official Report, column 359W, a Guidance Note on Post Devolution Primary Legislation Affecting Wales is being prepared. I expect this note to be published soon.
