Mr. Baker: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what is his policy in respect of the admission of China into the WTO. [127469] Mr. Caborn: The UK supports China's accession to the WTO on the right terms. We welcome the European Commission's success in negotiating an EU/China bilateral market access agreement. Of course, it is essential that China's commitments upon accession to the WTO are clearly set out and reviewed at regular intervals to ensure adherence.
