- To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will introduce legislation to compel banks and other institutions to search for claimants to accounts which have remained dormant for more than five years; if he will introduce legislation to ensure that money in dormant accounts is not held by banks or other institutions for longer than 10 years. - We have no plans to do so.
