Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security, what assessment he has made of the effectiveness of the back to work bonus; and if he will make a statement. - Includes ref to "Prospects of Part-Time Work: the Impact of the Back to Work Bonus". A copy in the Library.

Answer: Mr. Matthew Taylor: To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what assessment he has made of the effectiveness of the back to work bonus; and if he will make a statement. [120802] Angela Eagle: An evaluation of the back to work bonus has recently been completed, with the publication in April of the final report "Prospects of Part-Time Work: the Impact of the Back to Work Bonus". A copy has been placed in the Library. We will ensure that the back to work bonus continues to complement other measures that provide cash help for people moving from benefits for work.
